In collaboration with Newcastle University Surgical Society, North East Surgical Training Academy (NESTAC) and Northern Foundation Trainees Surgical Society (FTSS) we bring to you our regional teaching series titled Research in Surgery: Building the Foundations.
This is open to all Medical Students and Foundation Trainees across the country with a focus on those across the Northern region.
We are proud to announce that this teaching series has been supported by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh who have awarded one CPD hour per event attended.
The learning outcomes are as follows –
- To provide medical students and foundation trainees with an insight into Research in Surgery
- To allow attendees to gain valuable skills and academic knowledge to begin and develop their research skills
- To provide attendees with tips from experienced surgeons regarding a career in research in surgery
- To show attendees the range of types of research which are available to participate in as a medical student and foundation trainee
